Jackie Rae Coleman, 72, Gas City, passed away at 4:05 am on Monday, February 12, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Thursday, December 27, 1951, to Jack and Georgiana (Eakins) Hall. On October 11, 1981, she married Terry Coleman and he survives.
Jackie graduated from Mississinewa Community Schools. Jackie owned and operated Earthly Remedies, an herbal and vitamin shop. She was an Iridologist and loved helping people with herbs. She previously worked at RCA/Thompson and at Red Dot Dry Cleaners. She attended Grace Community Church. She liked collecting Santa Claus and Nutcrackers. She enjoyed spending time with her family, all the way down to her great-grandchildren. She enjoyed golf cart rides to get a caramel Frappuccino from McDonalds.
Survivors include her mother, Georgiana Pearson; husband, Terry Coleman of Gas City; children, Stacie (Mark) Norman, Earl (Melanie) Sizemore, Neeley Coleman, John Coleman, Wilmer (Rose) Sizemore, Miranda Sizemore; grandchildren, Curtis (Patrick) Sizemore, Ryan Sizemore, Krystal Sizemore, Garrett Smith, Preston (Jennifer) Sage, Jaylin Sage, James Sizemore, Justin Sizemore, Kailyn Rigdon, Olivia Sizemore, Whitney Coleman, Ryan Jones, Logan Jones, Taylor Norman, Kennedy Norman and Jaxon Norman; great-grandchildren, Lillian Soto, Makenna Sizemore, and Leighsen Sizemore.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Hall; step-father, Woody Pearson; sister, LaVonna Sue Borders; daughter, Roxanne Jones; father and mother-in-law, Clearance and Louise Coleman.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday, February 16, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St, Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Jackie’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
