Lola (Browning) Jordan, 74, passed away in Chicago, Illinois on Thursday, September 14, 2023.
She was born in Pine Mountain, Kentucky to the late Marsh and Bertha (Boggs) Browning on January 4, 1949. She married Dan L. Jordan on February 25, 1983 and he survives.
Lola was a homemaker and also a member of the Church of God in Wabash, Indiana. She enjoyed listening to country music, shopping, eating out, and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Dan, Lola is survived by her children; Jeffery Scott Mosley of Denver, Colorado, Laura (Brian) Brown of Russiaville, Indiana, Dan (Felecia) Jordan of Noblesville, Indiana, Diana (Brad) Adkins of Indianapolis, Indiana, Shawn Jordan of Winimac, Indiana, nine grandchildren; Wendy Brown, Melissa Fuina, Nathanial Mosley, Michael Brown, Myranda Brown, Zachary Adkins, Alleyann Adkins, Alley Jordan, Savannah Irwin, great granddaughter, Violet Vanmeter, brothers; Leonard (Cathy) Browning of Peru, Indiana, and Marsh (Jaunita) Browning Jr. of Peru, Indiana.
Lola is preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Asbel Browning, Aaron Browning, Donald Browning, Jim Browning, Levi Browning, and sisters; Wanda Rogers, and Rose Appleton.
Visitation will be held from 12pm to 2pm at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana on Monday, September 25, 2023. The funeral service will follow at 2pm. Internment will take place at Paw Paw Cemetery.
