Kevin Wayne Martin, 50, of Peru, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Dukes Memorial Hospital.
Kevin was born on November 23, 1972 in Wabash, Indiana to James Mitchel Martin III and Linda Sue (Hunt) Martin. He worked as a laborer at the Labors Union #274 in Lafayette, Indiana. Kevin was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler’s fan as well as a NASCAR fan. He particularly liked Dale Earnhardt.
Kevin is survived by his sisters, Angelia (Gary) Oliver of Peru, Indiana and Veronica Martin of Texas. Also surviving is special friend, Alisha Hults, of Peru, Indiana and good friend, Tony Binkerd, who Kevin thought of as a brother. Kevin is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Lisa Martin, and nephew, Wesley Teachout.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral services will follow at 1:00pm with Pastor ??? officiating. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru.
