Lane L. Roberts, 71, of Lagro, Indiana, died at 3:45 am, Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at The Waters of Wabash East. He was born on September 6, 1952, in Wabash, Indiana, to William Eugene “Max” and Annabelle (Manning) Roberts.
Lane was a 1972 graduate of Northfield High School. He was an avid Indiana University, Indianapolis Colts, and Chicago Cubs fan. He also enjoyed wrestling with his twin brother Lance.
He is survived by his sister, Karen Specht of Winter Haven, Florida; two sisters-in-law, Vickie Roberts of Texas and Rosemary Roberts of Huntington, Indiana; brother-in-law, Charles “Cabbage” Goodpaster of Lagro; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, William Dale Roberts, Gregory Roberts, and twin brother, Lance Roberts, and his sister, Cheryl Goodpaster.
Per the family’s request, there will be no service. Burial will be in the Lagro Cemetery, Lagro. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
