Lois Patuzzi, 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 1:19 pm on Friday, April 22, 2022. She was born in Roseburg, Indiana, to the late Walter “Pete” and Wilma Kessinger.
Lois graduated from Sweetser High School. She was employed by General Tire, Eastern High School as a lunch lady, and MGH in the Oncology Department. She was a caregiver to many.
Lois was a member of Kokomo Zion United Methodist Church, where she participated in many ventures, including teaching Sunday School, the annual sale, and cooking for many different events.
Lois enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, cooking for family and friends, and being around her huge family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, William Patuzzi; sons, David (Donna) Patuzzi, Jeff (MaryAnn) Cook, Tom (Trudi) Patuzzi, and Greg Patuzzi; daughter, Diane Lewis; grandchildren, Cole Patuzzi, Breann (Chad) Schubert, Amanda (Emily) Trent, Joshlynn Yeater, Vanessa Patuzzi, Cody Patuzzi, and Dylan (Caitlyn) Patuzzi; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Bill Kessinger and Dave Kessinger; sisters, Katie Hayes, Shirley Robinson, Becky Creech, and Beth Dials; sisters-in-law, Carole Kessinger and Kathy Jenkins; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Hubert Cook; brothers, Lloyd Kessinger, Mike Kessinger, and George Kessinger; grandson, Jesse Hall; and deceased spouses, Janice, Pearl, JB, and Mack.
The family will receive visitors from 10:30 am to 11:30 am on Monday, May 2, 2022, at Kokomo Zion United Methodist Church, 5051 Co. Rd. E. 400 N., Kokomo, IN 46901.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a funeral service to celebrate Lois’ life will begin at 11:30 am. Pastor Jeanne Winter will be officiating with burial taking place at Kokomo Zion UMC Cemetery.
