Linda was a 1967 graduate of Wabash High School, she then received her Masters Degree from Ball State University. She was an art teacher for 30 years, taught several years at Metro North and Sharp Creek Elementaries, and retired from the Metropolitan School District of Wabash County in 2011. Linda was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Wabash where she also was a lector. She was also a member of Retired Teachers Association and an avid Notre Dame Football fan. Linda enjoyed jewelry, traveling, crafts, etchings, drawing, coloring, loved German Shepherd dogs, and enjoyed watching “Modern Art”. She loved spending time with her grandson Mikel, and enjoyed watching him wrestle, and going to his football games.
She is survived by two children, Jason C. (Karri) Bozell and Shana Lyn (Kyle) Schuler, both of Wabash; grandson, Mikel Joseph Knight of Wabash; sister-in-law, Voncille McLeod of St. Augustine, Florida; and her lifelong sister and friend, Susan Nice of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Steven McLeod and Mark Cosgrove.
Per Linda’s request, services will be private. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
