Lillian May Holmes, 93, of Peru passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 at Dukes Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Charlevoix, Michigan on July 15, 1925 to Nathan D. and Fern G. (Rhine) Klock. She married Doyle Holmes, and he preceded her in death on October 31, 2017. She worked at W.C. Redmon in Peru, and was a member of the Eagles Lodge, the VFW and participated at the Senior Center.
Lillian is survived by her son Fred Chalkley of Peru. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her siblings Arther Klock, William Klock, Edward Klock, Opal Klock, and Barbara Klock.
Visitation will be held from 2pm – 4pm on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will follow at 4pm, with Pastor Harold Mast officiating.
