Kindra Kay Claxon, 69, Marion, passed away at 2:55 pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, in her home. She was born in Portland, Indiana, on Friday, December 4, 1953, to Lowell and Clara Fuqua. She married her loving husband, John Claxon, on August 11, 1974, and he survives.

Kindra graduated from Dunkirk High School in 1972.  She was a homemaker through out her life. She homeschooled her children and was president of the Carmel-Westfield-Sheridan home school group. Her family was her life. She was totally devoted to her husband John and her children and more recently her grandchildren. Kindra had a divine light that shone from her that everyone felt. She loved with all her heart and her family and friends felt that love everyday. She came down with Multiple Myeloma in 2014 and fought with grace. The world is a better place because she was in it.
