Kimberly S. Teegarden, 62 of Fairmount died Saturday August 26, 2017 at Marion General Hospital, Marion, IN after a brief illness.
Kim was born December 18, 1954 to the late Frederick and Hazel (Stanley) Watson in Marion, Indiana. She was a 1973 graduate of Madison-Grant High School, and attended Indiana Business College where she studied accounting. She attended the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Fairmount, IN. Kim had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening especially her flower gardens and fish ponds. She was avid pet lover and loved her 6 cats and dogs Macey and Molly. Kim never met a stranger and was always ready to lend a hand.
Kim was retired from Northern Indiana VA Medical Center, Marion where she was a dietician for 35 years and currently worked at Lance’s Grocery Store in Gas City.
She is survived by her life partner Richard “Joe” Miller of Fairmount, 2 Sisters; Kay (Ray) Williams, Ocklawaha, FL. Kathie (Daniel) Thrush, Floral City, FL. 2 Brothers; Dick (Kathryn) Watson, Gas City, IN and Chriss Watson, Marion, Indiana.
Services for Kim will be Wednesday August 30, 2017 with the family receiving friends and family from 3-5 PM at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Fairmount Chapel 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, IN., at Kim’s request cremation will follow.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pilgrim Holiness Church in care of the funeral home.
