Kenneth “Kenny” M. Moore, 75, Marion, passed away at 2:15 am on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in his home. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Sunday, May 4, 1947, to Kenneth and Mary (Harris) Moore, Sr. On April 12, 1996, he married Vickie Underwood, and she survives.
Kenny worked in construction throughout his career. He liked fishing and hunting, and he was a two-time Coon Hunt World Champion. Most of all, Kenny loved and cherished seeing his family grow over the generations.
In addition to his loving wife, survivors include his daughters, Tracee (David) Dodd of Marion and Heather (Shane) Dye of Marion; sons, Joel (Julie) Cooper of Marion, Rusty (Esther) Turner of NC, and Jason (Jaimie) Moore of Marion; step-daughter, Tami Weesner of Van Buren; step-sons, Harry (Jaime) Hamilton of Fairmount and Jackie (Melanie) Hamilton of Marion; sisters, Christine (Jerry) Marley of Tampa, FL, Loretta Dollar of Muncie, Terry Stith of FL, and Jonell (Rusty) Sherman of Marion; grandchildren, Dustin, Tyler, Seth, Jason, Sean, James, Erica, Phillip, Justin, Amrie, Brittany, Natalie, Drake, Kaylie, Gracie, Savana, Kristin, Cody, Corey, Derek, Dylan, Diane, Jacob, Katie, Kirstin, Caily, Levi, Jairus, Tabatha, Amber, and Rick, Jr.; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Reggie Moore; sister, Mary Turnbow; step-daughter, Lisa R. Kennedy; step-son, Richard “Rick” L. Hamilton; and two siblings at birth.
The family will receive visitors from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Kenny’s life will begin at 2:00 pm with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating.
