Kalexa Breann Burrus was born and gained her angel wings and entered into eternal rest on July 31st, 2018 at 5:51 a.m. in Kokomo, IN. She weighed 7 lbs and 9.5 oz and was 18 inches long.
Kalexa is the very definition of the word perfection. She is the most beautiful combination of her parents and the most wonderful addition to her large family. During her time in the womb, Kalexa enjoyed listening to music, cuddling with her parents, going to church, and getting her kisses from her puppy. Whenever it came time to do these activities or enjoy some of her favorite foods, she would give her mommy little thumps which is where she gets her nickname from her parents “Little Thumpy Baby”.
Kalexa was born to her loving parents, Alex and Kourtney Burrus who both say she is the answer to their prayers. They waited for her arrival with joyful expectation and now are very heartbroken about the sudden and unexpected loss of their beautiful healthy baby girl.
Kalexa is survived by her fur sibling, Sassie, who anxiously awaited for the day of her baby sister’s arrival.
Kalexa touched and impacted many lives in her short time here on earth. She was loved by all who met her, especially her large amazing family filled with aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and great grandparents.
Kalexa will be held in the hearts of many who wait to be reunited with her again in Heaven.
Services will be held at the Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home , 105 W. 3rd St. Peru, Indiana on Tuesday, August 7th, 2018 at 3:00 pm with Pastor: Mindy L. Mayes officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm until time of service. Love offerings may be made to the Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home.
