James “Bracken” Bruce Ridenour

James “Bracken” Bruce Ridenour, 64, rural Denver, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born July 23, 1954, in Kokomo, Indiana, he was the son of Ralph Floyd and Myra Jeanette Fisher Ridenour.

James had worked for several years at the Denver Tavern.  He was an avid fisherman and in past years, he enjoyed hunting, Nascar, and sprint car racing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Ralph Floyd Ridenour, Jr., one sister, Nancy Ann Reynolds, and his longtime companion, Debra Jean Burnett.

He is survived by an aunt, Mary F. Mynarski, Galveston, many nieces, nephews, and cousins, faithful canine companion, Bubby, who was named after his late brother, and special friends, Brent and Cheryl Shoemaker, Denver.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.  A time of visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
