Judith Louise Carter

Judith Louise Carter, 70, Marion, died at 9:18 a.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born in Manhattan, Kansas, on January 3, 1947, to the late Elvin and Dorothy (Munson) Frazier.

Judith retired from Marion General Hospital, where she worked in the medical records department for over 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, macrame, crafts, sewing, and shopping. Judith attended The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was a very giving and charitable person who tried to help everyone she could.

She is survived by her sons, Stacey (Kristy) Carter, Marion, and Jerry (Tracey) Carter, Marion; 7 grandchildren, Missy Carter, Skyler Carter, Chrissy Carter, Cheyenne Carter, Abigail Bonham, Jasmin Downam, and Christian Downam; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Lawrence (Dorothy) Frazier, Betty Jewell, John “Buzzy” (Mary) Frazier, and Susie (Steve) Bunch; sister-in-law, Barbara Frazier; brother-in-law, Raymond Appleby; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Judith was also preceded in death by a brother, Barney Frazier, and a sister, Lois Appleby.

The family will receive visitors from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2017, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Services to celebrate Judith’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, with Joe Frazier officiating. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park.
