Joshua Charles “Cha-Chi” Peal

Joshua Charles “Cha-Chi” Peal, 29, Marion, passed away at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at Marion General Hospital after a brief illness.  A lifelong resident of Marion, Joshua was born on March 30, 1989, to Daniel and Kellie (Golding) Peal.  He was a 2007 graduate of Oak Hill High School.

Joshua worked at Local IBEW 1393 in Indianapolis, where he was a line worker at Intren.  He enjoyed being around people and loved his nieces and nephews.  He liked cooking and trying new foods, and he had hoped to go to culinary arts school one day.  Joshua loved to make others laugh and had a glowing personality.  He will be remembered as a loving, protective, and big-hearted man who will be missed by all those he knew.

He is survived by his parents, Daniel (Kellie) Peal, Marion; Grandmother, Mary Jean “Nannie” Peal, GA; siblings: Christina Peal, Marion; Amanda Peal Wallace, Marion; Misty (Joseph) Ingalls, Pendleton; James Browning, Swayzee; and Matthew Peal, Villa Rica, GA; nieces and nephews: Davon, Dylan, Donavin, Martaive, Marques, Savannah, Jackson, and Mattison; several friends in Marion; and his dogs, Thor and Kalie.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gerald Peal, and maternal grandparents, Charles (Judith) Chaffin.

A memorial visitation for Joshua will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Following the time of visitation, a memorial service will begin at 4 p.m..
