Marline “Vera” Campbell, 79, of Warren, IN, passed away at 3:50 AM on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Markle Health Care in Markle, IN. She was born on Wednesday, August 23, 1939, in Grant County, IN to John S. & Bertha A. (Widner) Campbell. Vera was a 1958 graduate of Warren High School. She formerly worked at Triad-Utrad in Huntington for many years, until they closed. After the close of her plant, she then went to work for Pretzels in Bluffton for 5 years until retirement. Vera enjoyed embroidery, sewing and crafting.
Survivors include: Brother – Dudley (Pharaba) Campbell, Huntington County, IN and 19 Nieces & Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her: Father – John S. Campbell, Mother – Bertha A. (Widner) Campbell, Brothers – Maurice “Dutch” Campbell, Delbert Campbell, Leland “Bub” Campbell, Sisters – Phyllis Anderson, Evelyn Meade and Florence Taylor.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Glancy – H. Brown & Son Funeral Home 203 N Matilda St. Warren on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A service to celebrate her life will follow at 11:00 AM with Pastor Scott Nedberg officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren.
