Joe Arthur Osborn, 74, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 6:30 am, Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at his home. He was born on December 18, 1947, in Logansport, Indiana, to Charles and Shirley (Broughton) Osborn.
Joe was a 1965 graduate of Logansport High School. He married Joyce James in Logansport on October 3, 1971. Joe was a US Army veteran and worked at Ford Meter Box in Wabash, retiring in 2011. He enjoyed golfing at Etna Acres, woodworking, fishing, working in his garage, and re purposing wooden items and selling them. Joe also spent time as a grounds keeper at the Wabash Little League, mowing and looking after the fields.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Osborn; three sons, Greg (Stephanie) Osborn, Bill Osborn, and Donny (Deena ) Osborn; and seven grandchildren, Kayla (Derick) Robbins, Trent Osborn, Bayli Chenoweth, Sydnee Osborn, Logan Osborn, Mason Osborn, and Dylan Osborn, all of Wabash; and two sisters, Emily (Lynn) Sides of Idaho, and Susie (Rick) Heriford of Logansport. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three Brothers.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Brandon Eaton officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 3-6 pm Friday, at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Wabash Little League.
