Lynda Ann Fields, 67, of rural Wabash, Indiana, died at 11:25 am, Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born on August 7, 1955, in Wabash, to Harold Eugene and Ann L. (Rhodes) Coplea.
Lynda was a 1973 graduate of Wabash High School. She married Bob Fields on September 1, 1972 at the Allen Street First Baptist Church in Wabash. She retired from Martin Yale in Wabash in 2017, and also bartended at several locations. Lynda was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, and also enjoyed little league, softball, cooking and big family gatherings. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and also anyone else’s grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Fields of Wabash; four children, Shawn (Michele) Fields of Wabash, Chasity (Jim) Cunningham of LaFontaine, Indiana, Charity (Robert) Watson and Bobby Fields, all of Wabash; 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; and her niece Angela Coplea of Wabash. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Jerry Coplea.
Friends may call 5-8 pm Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave., Wabash.
