Jessie James Reason, Jr.

Jessie James Reason, Jr., 53, Marion, passed away on July 25, 2018, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.  He was born in Los Angeles, California, on January 12, 1965, to the late Jessie James Reason, Sr., and to Carol (Neese) Davis.

Jessie was a steel worker with Bahr Brothers.  He enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing, and especially spending time with his family.

He is survived by his mother, Carol Davis; children, Jessie (Ashley) Reason, III, Kokomo, Deanna Reason, Kokomo, James Clem, Marion, and Samantha (Kevin) Bowman, Marion; brother, James Reason, Michigan; sisters, Ida Smith, Marion, Karen Christopher, Michigan, and Tanya Lusby, Michigan; grandchildren, Haylee Reason, Jesse Reason, Trevion Taylor, Johnathan Weirich, Teddy Weirich, and Sophia Clem; grandmother, Ethel Neese; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his father, Jessie James Reason, Sr., and granddaughter, Samara Clem.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Immediately following visitation, services to celebrate Jessie’s life will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating.  Burial will take place at Van Buren Cemetery.
