Jesse James Little, 89, of rural Roann, Indiana, died at 12:05 am, Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Miller’s Merry Manor East in Wabash. He was born December 21, 1929 in Morehead, Kentucky to Alfred and Della (Jefferson) Little.
Jesse married Geneva Crump in Wabash on March 27, 1954; she died November 26, 2005. He was a self employed painter. Jesse was a former member of the New Connections Church in Wabash, and a member of the Wabash Eagles Lodge. He enjoyed being outdoors and gardening.
He is survived by three children, Donna “Sue” Monroe, Paul M. (Elizabeth) Little, and Mitchell J. (Kimberly) Little, all of Wabash, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and three sisters, Bertha Richmond of Sharpsburg, Kentucky, Louise (Herman) Staton and Ruby Fairchild, both of Akron, Indiana. He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, three sisters, and one grandson.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with David Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 9-10:30 am Thursday, at the funeral home.
