Robert E. “Bob” Garner, 67, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 8:00 a.m., Saturday, December 7, 2019 at his home. He was born April 23, 1952 in Huntington, Indiana to John and Faye (Pearson) Garner.
Bob married Karen Saunders in Wabash on January 12, 1991. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for Secondary Metal Processing in Wabash. He enjoyed building things and the light of his life were his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Garner of Wabash, six children, Gypsy Harner of Wabash, Amber (David) Wright of Logansport, Indiana, Billy (Brittany) Williamson of Live Oak, Florida, Michael Parritt of Ohio, Adam (Tina) Williamson of Brooklyn, Aransas, and Kimberly Noland of Wabash, special granddaughter T’Keyah Garner of Wabash, 23 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and his sister, Bonnie (Bill) Cox of Bunker Hill, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Patty Dyer, and his great-granddaughter, Yasmin Fay Morgan.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2019 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Vince Darland officiating. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 9:30-11:00 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
