Honeywell House Releases a New Book

WABASH, Ind. – The Honeywell Foundation announces a new book for sale. In story format, it features Mark C. Honeywell’s contributions to the world and the Wabash community. The book title is MR. HONEYWELL’S SPECIAL GIFTS.  It is illustrated by North Manchester, Indiana’s, renowned artist Penny French-Deal.  The authors are collaborative educators from Wabash, Indiana: Phyllis Downey, Susan Jones, Suzanne Smith, Ana Maria Gackenheimer, and Anne Garver Curless.  The design and layout are by Eric Schoening of Vertical Communications, LLC.

Wabash native, Mark Honeywell, who lived from 1874-1964, bestowed the Wabash area and society in general with his generosity of philanthropic gifts, his vision for the future, and his caring faith in people, especially youth. This new book honors him and is a story which complements EUGENIA’S SPECIAL DAY published in 2012.

MR. HONEYWELL’S SPECIAL GIFTS is available for purchase at the Honeywell Center, Honeywell House, Wabash Convention and Visitors Bureau, Wabash County Historical Museum, Modoc’s Market, Eclectic Shoppe, Market Street Mercantile, Black Squirrel Toy Co., and Borders and Beyond.
