Herman Cuevas

Herman Cuevas Bermudez began his earthly journey in Utuado, Puerto Rico on December 15, 1951.  As the 8th of 9 children born to Isabel Bermudez Hernandez and Marcelino Cuevas Acevedo (both of whom preceded him in death), Herman was the family comedian.  At the center of laughter and joy, there he was, regaling his captive audiences with humorous stories that will be passed down to future generations.

Herman was a man of unwavering faith and was a beacon of Adonai’s/God’s love.  He faithfully practiced the teachings of Yeshua/Jesus and instilled the same dedication and values onto his children and grandchildren.  Herman passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

His pride and joy was the family that Herman built with his wife, Ruth.  His wife and three daughters were his jewels.  Marcy, Cristina (AJ), and Tammy (Josh) were his motivation for living.  His daughters went on to give him his six beautiful grandchildren: Jacob, Joseph, Lillian, Trent, Izabella, and Tessa.

G-man is survived by his wife, daughters, and grandchildren.  He is also survived by his siblings, Ruben and Angelica.

While he may be sorely missed here on earth, he will eventually be reunited with his loved ones again for life everlasting.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Friday, May 27, 2022 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will begin at Noon with Pastors Clarence Hand and Josh Garner officiating.
