Henry Allen Sellers passed away peacefully at 4:34am on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Wellbrooke of Wabash.
He was born on October 25, 1934 in Shubuta, Mississippi. He married Dorothy Faye Sellers on June 24, 1956 in Quitman, Mississippi. Henry retired from the US Air Force after 21 years of service, and then worked at Grissom Air Force base with various government contract suppliers for another 20 years. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hanging out with his children and grandchildren and fishing.
He is survived by his four sons, Richard Sellers and wife, Lea Ann, Peru; David Sellers, and wife, Denise, Naperville, Illinois; Jeff Sellers, and wife, Christine, Fort Wayne; and Jason Sellers, Young America, and by 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and wife, Dorothy of 59 years.
Friends and family may gather from 9:00am to 11:00am on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 181 W. Main St. Peru, Indiana, with service following at 11:00 am, with Pastor Kenneth Greenwald officiating. Burial will follow at the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Peru, with military service provided by the Miami County Military Rites Team. Memorials may be made to the Grissom Air Museum.
