Jonathan Myers

Jonathan Myers, 56, of Peru passed away on September 13, 2018 at the I.U. Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was born in Peru on April 27, 1962 to Paul B. and Flora (Harman) Myers.  He married Angela (Ingols) Myers on November 23, 1996, and she survives.

Jonathan was a veteran of the United States Army, and later an assembly line worker at Chrysler.  He also served as a Chaplain there, as well as serving as a minister at the Apostolic Revival Center (ARC), where he was a member.  In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing and golfing.

He is survived by his wife, as well as their children Jonathan Paul Guy Myers of Peru, and Sierra Nichole Myers of Peru.  Also surviving is a sister Eunice Fugate; nieces Angela, Susan, Suzanne, and Martha; and nephew David; and a grandson Liam Paul Cho Myers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Phoebe Meeks, and a (stillborn) infant daughter, Tiffani Amber Myers.

Visitation will be held from 11am to 2pm on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Apostolic Revival Center, 307 Wampler Street, Peru, Indiana.  Funeral service will follow at 2pm, with Pastor: Chris Reed officiating.  Burial will take place at the Metzger Cemetery, with military service provided by the Miami County Military Rites Team.  Love offerings may be made to Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home to assist with funeral expense.
