Alden L. Lee, 59, of Scottsburg, Indiana, died at 2:28 pm, Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Scott County Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg. He was born December 31, 1958 in Salem, Indiana to Elmo C. and Freeda (Atkins) Lee.
Alden married Betty Nelson; she died August 3, 1997. He worked for Seymour Manufacturing and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing Bingo. He also loved spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by six children, Martha (Tim) Willett of Lagro, Indiana, Allen Lee and James Reed, both of Wabash, Indiana, Tommy Lee of Little York, Indiana, David (Amy) Luckenbill of Pekin, Illinois, and Eva Lee of Wabash, 17 grandchildren, Zach (Kayla) Willett, Travis (Kristy) Willett, Brittany Burnworth, Trevor Burnworth, Shyann Walters, Blake Price, Keaton Price, Emma Lee, Isabella Lee, Persephanie Lee, Ethan Farmer, Torrance Farmer, Mackenzie Luckenbill, Alexsandra Luckenbill, Jacob (Destiny) Turben, Austin Dewey, and Isaac Williams; 6 great grandchildren; mother, Freda Reiner of Roann, Indiana, brother, Charles Lee of Peoria, Illinois, and four sisters, Tina McCleery of Scottsburg, Eva Sturgill of Seymour, Indiana, Janice Lambert of North Manchester, Indiana, and Geraldine Kay (Terry) Paul. He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers, one sister, and his grandson.
Funeral services will be 5:00 pm Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash. Friends may call 1-5pm Saturday, at the funeral home.
