Geraldine R. Hillyer, age 93, of Marion passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Wynmoor of Marion.
Geraldine was born on August 30, 1929 in Marion, Indiana the daughter of the late Harry and Thelma (Lowe) Eastes. She married Robert Hillyer on December 10, 1949, and he preceded her in death on November 27, 2017.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Diskey of Fairmount and Jeanine Sollars of Marion; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brad) Planck of Marion, Brooke (Ray) Mullen of Noblesville, and Colin (Shelby) Sollars of Marion; and one great-grandson, Cameron Mullen.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Sue Hillyer; and a brother, Robert Eastes.
Arrangements are entrusted to Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. Cremation will take place with burial at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana at a later date.
