Gary Lee Cole

Gary Lee Cole, 81, of rural Chili, Indiana, died at 4:35 am, Monday, November 7, 2022, at Arlington Health Campus in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on February 7, 1941, in Peru, Indiana, to Louis R. and Dorothy J. (Philabaum) Cole.

Gary was a 1959 graduate of Chili High School. He married Judy Ann Kratzer in Peru on March 25, 1967; she died September 8, 2021. Gary was a retired farmer. He was a member of the Chili United Methodist Church. He enjoyed Nascar racing, but farming was his passion.

He is survived by five children, Carrie (Beave) Fuller of Denver, Indiana, Greg (Anne) Livengood of Akron, Indiana, Jody (Kenneth) Worden of Galveston, Indiana, Lori Cole and Leslie Cole, both of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren, Ryne Fuller and Stewart Fuller, both of Denver, Landon (Niki Fisher) Fuller of Peru, Olivia Livengood of Akron, Kelly (Brandon) Behny of Galveston, Kayla (Dave Toepfer) Worden, Katie (Joshua) Hobson, Travis Correll, all of Peru, Jessica Burton of Indianapolis; 12 great grandchildren; and his sister, Carolyn Oldfather of Allons, Tennessee. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one grandson Jordon Fuller.

Graveside services and burial, will be 2:00 pm, Friday, November 11, 2022, at Chili Cemetery, Chili, Indiana. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Roann Chapel, Roann, Indiana.
