Floyd D. Crosby, 78, of Gas City, passed away at 7:20 pm on Friday, October 7, 2022. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Thursday, March 16, 1944, to Glen and Lula (Stewart) Crosby. He married Pam (Ende), who survives.
Floyd graduated from Mississinewa and served in the United States National Guard. Following his service time, he worked as a Police Officer for Gas City for 20 years. He then managed the Soap and Suds Car Wash. After retirement he loved staying at home and being with his grandkids and working in the yard.
Floyd is also survived by his daughter, Melissa Kaye Crosby; step-son, Shane (Chip Fletcher) Campbell of Sinking Springs, PA; step-daughter, Damian (Patrick) Murray of Gas City; granddaughters, Sydney (David) Couchman, Hazel Fletcher-Campbell, Aivee Murray; great-grandsons, Dayton Couchman, Rhett Couchman; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen W. and Lula Belle Crosby; son, William M. Crosby; sister, Marjorie Darlene Glass; and brother, Charles W. Crosby.
At the family’s request, there will be no public visitation. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Riverside Cemetery.
