Virginia Ann Vanlandingham, 71, Marion, passed away at 12:16 pm on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. She was born in Bluestone, Kentucky, on Saturday, November 4, 1950, to Franklin and Nora (Robinson) Vanlandingham.
Virginia graduated from Marion High School and worked at GenCor. She was a hard-working loving lady who always put her family first and especially loved all her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Stacey (Bob) Vanlandingham-Andrick of Marion; Vance Vanlandingham of Huntington; grandchildren, Jaycee, Kylee, Paige, Gavin, Garner, Ava, Braylon; great-grandchildren, Tyrese, Tyvon, Trey, Trent; sisters, Janice (Larry) Cook, Margret Bailey, Nora (late, Jimmy) Thomas; and brother, Jerry (Val) Vanlandingham.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Nora Vanlandingham; and brother, Jimmy Vanlandingham.
The family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Virginia’s life will begin at 3:00 pm with Doug Lewis officiating.
