Ronald “Ronnie” E. Isaacs, 68, of Marion, passed away at 10:30 pm on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Marion surrounded by his loving daughters and family. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on Saturday, July 17, 1954, to Jonah and Rosa (Irvin) Isaacs.
Ronnie served in the United States Army National Guard and achieved the rank of PV2. Following his honorable discharge from the military, he worked at Amcast Automotive and Essex. He liked to play Bingo and sing at Karaoke. He also liked to watch television, particularly old TV shows. He loved spending time with his family, especially sharing meals during the holidays. Ronnie will also be remembered for how much he loved making others laugh.
Survivors include his former wife, Margaret Isaacs; daughters, Rosa Jean Isaacs of Marion, Amanda Riddle Isaacs of Jonesboro, and Margaret “Lynn” Isaacs of Gas City; granddaughters, Essence Isaacs, Emmalyn Isaacs, Maddison Isaacs, Jazmyn Mosley, and Jazmyne Palacios; grandsons, Aaron Isaacs and Larenzo Isaacs; great-grandson, Khamari Johnson; brother, Joe; sister, Rosa Lee; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jonah Isaacs; mother, Rosa Lou Isaacs; sisters, Eva and Wanita; twin sister, Bonnie; and brother, James.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Ronnie’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Tom Mansbarger officiating.
