Faith A. Smith, 63, formerly of Fairmount, Indiana died, Monday, March 19, 2018 at her Alexandria residence.
Faith was born on April 9, 1954 in Anderson, Indiana, the daughter of the late Clyde W. Smith and the late Ruby L. (Maxwell) Smith and was raised by her brother and sister-in-law Phil and Sue Smith. She graduated from Madison Grant High School in 1973. Faith retired in August 2014 from the Marion, Indiana General Motors plant where she was a fork lift driver. She had an incredible sense of humor with a unique and one of a kind laugh. She enjoyed painting, movies, bowling, spending time with her grandchildren and trips to the zoo.
Children; Brooke (Jason) McPhearson of Elwood, and Brian (Ginger) Moore of Argos, and three Grandchildren; Aisah McGuire, Kaleb McGuire and Samantha Rose, four Sisters; Elizabeth Rodney, Marileen (Ray) Meador , Pam (Steve) Thompson all of Alexandria, and Susie (John) Goldsberry of Elwood, two brothers; Phillip Smith of Fairmount, and Doug (Pam) Smith of Alexandria,
She was preceded in death by a brothers Jackie and Robert Smith, and sister-in-law, Sue Smith
Arrangements are being handled by the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, Indiana where there will be a visitation on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 4-8 PM. Funeral service celebrating Faith’s life is Thursday, March 22 at 10 AM with Pastor Brock Meyer officiating. Interment will be at Park Cemetery in Fairmount, Indiana.
