Kathy J. Keal, 63, passed away in Marion General Hospital, Marion on March 14, 2018. She was born in Marion to the late Kermit and Judy Maxine (Lowe) Warren on August 8, 1954.
Kathy graduated in 1972 from Oak Hill High School. On June 11, 1972 she married Richard E. Keal. He preceded her in death in 2001. While living in Germany for a short stint Kathy worked as a quartermaster in laundry and supply. She also worked for Marion Community Schools as a handicap bus aide and retired in 2009. Kathy was a member of the American Legion Post 293 Interlachen, Florida. She enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis Presley.
She is survived by her children, John Keal and Misty Keal, both of Converse; Rex Keal, Gainesville, Florida; sisters, Barbara (Tim) Green, Amboy; Kimberly Marsee, Anderson; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 11am to 1pm in Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Larrison-Martin Chapel, 308 East Marion Street, Converse, Indiana. The funeral service will begin at 1 pm in the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Converse Cemetery, Converse, Indiana.
