Private graveside services will be in Union Cemetery in Huntington County with Rev. Bill Rapp officiating.
Preferred memorials are to Trinity United Methodist Church for the preschool, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana, 46750.
Evelyn was born on October 21, 1933 in Huntington, the daughter of DeWayne and Esther (Gesaman) Goodrich. She graduated from Lancaster High School in 1952 and loved being a farmer’s wife. She retired from Nick’s Kitchen after 20 years of service. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Huntington. Evelyn loved to knit and crochet and enjoyed watching classic movies. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include daughters Christine (Sam) Scher and Amanda (Wesley) Hosier, both of Huntington, sons William (Nan) Plasterer and Robert Plasterer, both of Huntington and Edward (Teresa) Plasterer of Warren, a sister-in-law, Alice Stickler of Huntington, 13 grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Her parents precede her in death.
