Douglas M. Cox, 52, Marion, passed away at 2:06 am on Monday, April 1, 2024, at Marion Health. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Wednesday, April 21, 1971, to Michael E. Cox and Kay (Jones) Stoffer.
Douglas graduated from Sheridan High School. While living at Aperion, he enjoyed taking walks, playing BINGO, and participating in various activities.
Survivors include his father, Michael E. (Mary) Cox of Marion; mother, Kay (Gary) Stoffer of Van Buren; sisters, Terri (Jeff) Richardson of St. Thomas, Angela K. Cox of Portland, Michelle (Pierre) Wilson of Marion, and Kim Bishop of Marion; and brother, Troy Cox of Gas City.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Friday, April 5, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Douglas’ life will begin at 12:00 noon with Pastor Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory in Marion.
