Dorothy Jane “Dottie” Oden, 92, Marion, passed away at 7:10 pm on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Colonial Oaks Health & Rehabilitation Center in Marion. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Wednesday, July 15, 1931, to James and Margaret L. (Rowe) Kuhn.
Dorothy worked at RCA and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Parish. She loved cats and reading. She also worked at the Genesis Place.
Survivors include her children, Dawn L. (Earl) Hartwell of Berne, Donald J. (Lisa) Craig, Jr. of Fairmount, Madonna J. King of Jonesboro, Michelle R. (Mark) Graham of Trumble, MO, Margaret A. (Richard) Liechty of Converse, Virginia J. (Michael) Morton of Largo, FL, Linda L. (Don) Kellogg of Gas City; 28 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Donald J. Craig, Joe Norval Oden; parents, James E. and Margaret Kuhn; daughter, Julie (Kenneth) Kidd; son-in-law, Don King; and two grandsons, James Holt and Kenneth Kidd Jr.
The family will receive visitors from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Holy Family Catholic Church 325 E. North A. St., Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a funeral mass will begin at 11:30 am with Father Hurley officiating. Burial will take place at Estates of Serenity.
