Patricia A. Hale, 80, of Upland, passed away at 11:38 pm on Monday, February 5, 2024, at University Nursing Center in Upland. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Sunday, July 18, 1943, to Joseph and Alice (Motch) Horner. She married Buddy A. Hale who preceded her.
Patricia graduated from Jefferson High School – Upland and Marion College. She worked as an accountant at Lincoln Mercury Ford/Mike Anderson Chevrolet. She loved knitting, crocheting, sewing, reading, flower gardening, and her zero turn mower. She loved arguing with her grandson, Travis and picking on her granddaughter, Allie. She also enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s ball games. She loved her dog, Princess, and her cat, Fluffy.
Patricia is survived by son, Randall (Lori) King of Upland; grandson, Travis (Sarah) Mathias of New Haven; brother, Joseph Bruce Horner; step-daughters; step son; and several grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy A. Hale; parents, Joseph C. and Alice Horner; brothers, Mike Horner, Bob Horner; and son, Christopher King.
At the family’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service at this time. Burial will take place at a later date at Jefferson Cemetery.
