Delores Ellen Grant, 75, Jonesboro, passed away on her birthday in her home on November 12, 2018. She was born in Marion on November 12, 1943, to the late Clyde and Bernice (Wallace) Parks and was a homemaker throughout her life.
Delores loved playing Bingo, traveling to Las Vegas, collecting Beanie Babies, and attending Southside Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her son, Howard (Rona) Grant, Jonesboro; siblings, Regina (Mike) Lovett, Gas City, Clyde (Peggy) Parks, FL, Cora Horner, Jonesboro, Joan Lloyd, Marion, Richard Parks, Jonesboro, Russell (Roxanne) Parks, Upland, Roger (Melissa) Parks, Gas City, and Billie Webb, Rochester; grandson, Brad (Brandy) Carter, Jonesboro; great-grandchildren, Braeden, Nataley, and Bailey; and great-great-granddaughter, Kailey.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard Grant; son, Joseph Grant; and siblings, Janice, Bonnie, Clarence, Charles, and Vonda.
The family will receive visitors from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. with Delores’ funeral service beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
