Deborah Lee Lane, 67, of Lagro, Indiana, died at 5:47 pm, Thursday, April 20, 2023, at her home. She was born on December 24, 1955, in Paintsville, Kentucky, to Bennie and Mary (Hill) Daniel.
Deborah married Ronald Lane on January 12, 1973 in Ijamsville, Indiana. She worked at Wabash City Schools as a lunch lady and bus driver. Deborah was a member of Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church, and attended Wabash Free Will Baptist Church. She loved her family, especially her children, and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Lane of Lagro, two children, Angel Lane of Lagro, and Joshua (Charity Moore) Lane of Wabash, Indiana, three grandchildren, Shellby Smith of Lagro, Renee (Memphis Hiner) Lane of Andrews, Indiana, and Karlie Lane of Wabash, three great-grandchildren, Karla Jo Smith, Knox Smith, and Everleigh Hiner, and brother, Mike (Rhonda) Daniel of Wabash. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Mary Daniel, and her son, Daniel Lane, who died in 2015.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Roger Hill officiating. Entombment will be in Chapel of Remembrance Mausoleum, at Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 2:00 – 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorial is Wabash County Cancer Society.
