Deaitra Sue “Dee Dee” Ward, 61, of Wabash, Indiana, died at her home on Sunday, February 4, 2024. She was born on March 2, 1962, in Wabash, to Ellis and Nellie (Cantrell) Ward.
Dee Dee was a 1980 graduate of Northfield High School. She enjoyed watching Nascar and collecting it’s memoribilia. She also enjoyed listening to music and watching football.
She is survived by her sister, Cathy (Philip) King of Wabash; nieces and nephews, Matthew King, Marissa (Doug) Huston, and Andrew (Allison) King, all of Lagro, Danny (Jessie) Lyons of Huntington, Indiana, and Gina Adams of Wabash; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Danny Ray Lyons and Earl Dwayne Lyons.
Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery, Wabash.
