David A. Lyons, 61, of Geneva, IN, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Adams Memorial Hospital, Adams County, IN. He was born on Saturday, October 06, 1956, in Adams County, IN. David was a 1975 graduate of Adams Central High School. He attended ITT Tech for 1 year. He worked in maintenance for the Indiana Dept. of transportation in Monroe, IN. David enjoyed driving truck, golfing, watching the Chicago Cubs, and fishing. He was a member of the Geneva Fire Dept. for 18 years, member of the Berne American Legion and the VFW in Geneva.
Loving Survivors Include his Brothers – Steven (VeeAnca) Lyons, Belpre, OH, Michael Lyons, Hoagland, IN, Sister – Brenda (James) Kuhnle, Decatur, IN, and several Nieces & Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Father – Herman E. Lyons, and Mother – Patricia A. (Gay) Lyons.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home 100 N Washington St. Geneva, IN 46740 on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
A service to celebrate David’s life will be at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 with Rev. Marvin Schwartz officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the Tricker Cemetery (Blue Creek Twp.) in Monroe.
