Daniel Lee Peal, 66, Marion, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 11, 1955, to Gerald and Mary Peal. On September 5, 1989, he married Kellie Golding, who survives.
Following Daniel’s graduation from South Cobb High School, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked for ABB Robotics as a Robot Engineer. After retirement, he worked as a gun smith. He loved guns, restoring cars, and spending time with family and friends. He truly enjoyed being outdoors. Daniel was a member of Deer Creek Conservation Club.
Survivors include his wife, Kellie Peal; children, Christy Peal, Amanda Wallace, Misty (Joseph) Ingalls, James (Kristie) Browning, and Matthew Peal; grandchildren, Martaive, Marques, Davon, Dylan, Donavin, Savannah, Jackson, and Mattison; and brothers, Gerald Peal, Jr., Johnny Peal, and Steven Peal.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Joshua Peal.
The family will receive visitors from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Monday, April 4, 2022, at Community Unity Building (God’s Goons), 1804 W. 11th St., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a memorial service to celebrate Daniel’s life will begin at 6:00 pm with Brandon Chism officiating.
