Wabash Spring Clean-up Details

The Street Superintendent, Scott Richardson, has announced the dates for spring
clean-up. Spring clean-up will begin on Monday, April 25, 2022, at 6:00 A.M.
until Friday, April 30, 2022.
• All items should be curbside by 6A.M. on the day of your weekly trash
route.
• Piles are to be no bigger than a 4×8 pile
• A dumpster will be located at Wabash County Solid Waste Management
District located at 1101 Manchester Ave for residence not wanting to place
items on curbside. Hours are 10:00 – 6:00 M-F and 8:00 – 1:00 Saturday.
Proof of City residence will be required.
• List of items not accepted by the Street Department:
Batteries, paint, petroleum products, chemical, televisions, computers,
and other electronic devices, tires, appliances with freon, loose shingles,
drywall / plaster

These Problem waste items (Batteries, paint, petroleum products, chemicals,
tires, appliances with freon, tv’s, computers, electronic devices) are not accepted at
the landfill and should be dropped off at the District without a fee. The District
does not accept trash.
“The Street Department will try to stay on schedule, do to weather or heavy
volume they may run behind. If this happens, please be patient and your items will
be picked up,” says Scott Richardson.
