Nancy P. Bauman, 87, Marion, passed away at 11:03 am on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Colonial Oaks Health & Rehabilitation Center in Marion. She was born in Clark County, Kentucky, on Wednesday, February 27, 1935, to Novia and Annie (Adams) Simon.
Nancy worked in Housekeeping at Holiday Inn. She loved collecting cow decor and loved her ice cream.
Survivors include her sons, John A. Bauman of LaVista, NE, Donald R. Bauman of Richland, MO, and Patrick Wampah of Chicago, IL; daughters, Beth (Steve) Hezel of LaVista, NE, and Rhonda Novak of Yankton, NE; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Novia Simon; mother, Annie Simon; daughter, Barbara J. Brundige; brothers, John Simon, Franklin Simon, and Robert Simon; and sisters, Mamie Vickers, Onys Carroll, Nettie Roe, and Carolyn Arent.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Nancy’s life will begin at 12:00 noon with Chaplain Don Miller officiating. Burial will take place at Estates of Serenity.
