WABASH,Indiana – We have an update on the Kandi Brandt Hovey investigation. In a text to MiBash News, Wabash County Coroner Carol Whitesel said that the toxicology reports are back and that Hovey died of a heroin overdose. Whitesel also dispelled rumors that the heroin was laced with rat poison or some other deadly substance by saying that the substance Hovey took was only heroin. We’ll have more information as we get it.
