Carl E. Reasen, 85, of Van Buren, passed away at 9:40 am on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Marion Health. He was born in Crawford County, Indiana, on Sunday, December 6, 1936. He was married to Carolyn (Albritton) Reasen, who survives.
Carl graduated from Sweetser High School and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Germany during the Korean War. Following his honorable discharge from the military, Carl was a construction worker with Logan and Kern Construction. Carl loved attending auctions, and he especially loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his loving wife, Carolyn Reasen, he is survived by his brother, Rodney (late Brenda) Reasen of Westfield; sister, Marilyn (Howard) Baker of Van Buren; and grandson, Jonathan Eddings of New York.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Charles and Ruby Reasen.
At Carl’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
