Beverly Kay Slone, 69, Huntington, IN passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne, IN.
Mrs. Slone was born on March 27, 1947, in Oil Springs, KY, to Floyd and Alkia (Watkins) Long. Her parents preceded her in death. Mrs. Slone married Delbert Slone on January 21, 1966. He survives and resides in Huntington, IN.
Mrs. Slone was a factory worker and retired after working at Magnetek for over 20 years. She enjoyed playing games, shopping and spoiling her grandchildren.
Along with her husband she is survived by one son, Tim Slone, Huntington, IN; one daughter, Missy (Bill) McIntyre, Indianapolis, IN; two brothers, Kanawha Long, Kermit, WV, Toby (Mary) Long, Roanoke, IN; one sister, Elizabeth (Thomas) Hack, Gas City, IN; and two grandchildren, Billy McIntyre and Jamie McIntyre.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2016, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at McElhaney-Hart Funeral home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN with Pastor Taylor Smelser officiating.
Burial will be Riverside Cemetery, Andrews, IN.
