Bart A. Goodman, 59, of Marion, passed away at 10:28 pm on Saturday, December 2, 2023. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Wednesday, July 1, 1964, to Elton and Elizabeth (Weaver) Goodman. On July 17, 1999, he married Debra (DeBoy), who survives.
Bart graduated from Bennett High School in 1982. After graduation, he worked various jobs and most recently worked at home remodeling for Danny Dalrymple. Bart enjoyed gardening, Colts football, painting, and he loved cooking.
Bart is survived by his wife, Debra Goodman of Marion; daughter, Alyssa Goodman of Marion; son, Garrett Goodman of Marion; brother, Patrick Goodman of Marion; sister, Theresa Haff of Fort Wayne; brother-in-law, Scott (Jennifer) DeBoy of Marion; mother-in-law, Sue DeBoy of Marion; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Alan Goodman; and father-in-law, Roy DeBoy.
At Bart’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
