MARION – On July 3, 2020 at approximately 10:55 pm, Officer Steven Moore, during routine patrol, advised that he was flagged down at the intersection of Bradford and Branson. Jonathan Green, age 35, stated that he and his female passenger, identified as Sarah Sweat, age 29, were just robbed at gunpoint by a male subject. Green reported that the suspect pointed a gun at him, struck him in the head and took currency. Green advised that the suspect had ran into a nearby residence located in the 500 Block of North Branson Street. Officers set up a perimeter around the residence where the victims reported that the suspect ran into.
The suspect, identified as being Zackery Dodd, age 26 was ordered to exited the residence with his hands raised in the air. Officers then placed Dodd into custody and transported to the Grant Co. Jail. Charges: Armed Robbery, Intimidation, Pointing a Loaded Firearm and Battery. Bond: $30,005.00
