Anthony D. “Tony” Garrison, 56, of Gas City, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2023, at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Tuesday, October 25, 1966, to Donald and Deanna (Long) Garrison.
Tony graduated from Southwood Jr./Sr. High School and Ball State University. He worked as an auditor for 18 years with Nexus Group. Tony was the biggest Green Bay Packers fan you will ever meet. He lived and breathed the Packers, all things IU, Ball State, and the Cincinnati Reds. He was also an avid chess player and loved spending time with his son, family, and friends.
Anthony is survived by his son, Trenton Garrison of Gas City; mother, Deanna Garrison of Lafontaine; father, Donald E. (Jean) Garrison of Marion; brothers, Scott A. (Keri) Garrison of Lafontaine, Jamy L (Heather) Garrison of Huntertown; nieces, Hannah Garrison, Lacey Garrison; nephew, Austin Garrison; step-sons, Jacob (Samie) Manry and their son, Alistor, and Samuel Manry; and close friend, Jennifer.
At Tony’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral and Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
