Angela “Angie” Myers Cook

Angela “Angie” Myers Cook, 49, Gas City, passed away at 12:39 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2018, at Marion General Hospital.  She was born in Marion on July 26, 1969, to John Myers and Candace (Ruth) Sanders.  On August 18, 2016, she married her loving husband, Jeff Cook, and he survives.

Angie was the manager at McClure Oil and loved spending time with her family, as well as taking road trips with her husband to Brown County on their Harley.  Angie especially enjoyed the times with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Cook; children, Ashley (Chad) Myers, Marion, Joshua Kierstead, Marion, Morgan (Curtis) Eakins, Marion, Ashlie (Kevin) Carter, Summitville, Jessica Cook, Anderson, Cody Cook, Sweetser, and Ashley (Jacob) Dresen; siblings, Shad Myers, Warren, Trev Myers, Gas City, Jennifer O’Banion Eib, Marion, and Andy Myers, Van Buren; grandchildren, Dallas, Brayleigh, Avery, Blakeleigh, Jax, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Jace, Zoey, Addison, and Lilly; father, John (Dana) Myers; mother, Candace (Charles) Sanders; father- and mother-in-law, Ted (Ruth) Cook; and special friend, Dean Eakins.

Preceding her in death were her maternal grandparents, Betty (John) Ruth; paternal grandparents, Jim (Ruth) Myers; and her in-laws, Ellen (Delbert) Eakins.

The family will receive visitors from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.

Services to celebrate Angie’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2018, at the funeral home with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating.
